I am trying to raise funds for my daughter Laura and my 3 grandchildren who pretty much lost their home during Hurricane Milton. They have been struggling ever since. They unfortunately still live in their home, which is pretty much condemned.

This is their story.

Dear Friends, Kind Strangers, and Community,

I am a single mother of three, and we have lost everything. Our home was severely damaged by Hurricane Milton—the roof was partially ripped off, and we have been living in it with tarps on it ever since. After numerous contractor evaluations, we have been advised the structure is beyond repair. It now has to be demolished, leaving us with no place to go.

I have exhausted all available resources, including FEMA assistance, and I am struggling to secure a new home for myself and my children. We are in desperate need of support to rebuild our lives and find a safe, stable place to live.

I am humbly asking for help to reach our goal of $20,000, which will go directly towards demolishing our old home and putting a deposit on a used mobile home.
