I am raising money to pay for part of my sister Laura's cremation. It is $2825 minimum. She passed away on 4/16/25 and we were expecting to pay for the services with her insurance policy. Apparently the insurance company has a policy where they meticulously review any policies that are younger than 3 years old for fraudulence. They are dragging their feet and sending a form for us to get filled out by my sister's doctors and then we send it back. Just when we have one form completed they send us another. I do not know why they just will not send everything at once. Meanwhile, 2 months later my sister is still lying in cold storage at the funeral home. I am not one to usually ask but it seems the insurance company is not wanting to pay out the policy and I have not started nursing yet as I am still waiting to take my boards. If all else fails then I can take care of this when I become a RN but that is not till August and my sister has already waited 2 months. Thank you.
