Welcome to Laura’s GoFundMe page! Our beloved Laura Childers has been battling cancer with courage, ferocity and grace.
Miss Laura is a retired Waldorf school teacher, artist, mother, and friend.
As you can imagine, navigating the medical terrain has many peaks and valleys, challenges and triumphs. One of those challenges is the financial strain it has put on Laura.
Laura has been unable to work during this time. So, we are coming together as a community to help raise funds for Laura to focus solely on chemotherapy and healing.
Money raised will be used for:
- housing
- rent for storage units
- food
- gas (to and from the medical center)
- strain from government shutdown (Laura was relying on SNAP food stamps)
