Hello everyone. A good friend and co-worker of mine, Laura, experienced an unfortunate accident leaving work on August 29, 2025. A heavy piece of our associate entrance door fell onto her, and she sustained a bad concussion. She was off for an entire month due to the injury and is now facing the rather unfortunate consequence of being victim to work place injury.

Like many, Laura has bills and debt that she tries so hard to stay on top of. Well, after a month off work, she’s had to return to the bedside because she hasn’t received her worker’s compensation or short term disability pay. That’s right, Laura’s a critical care nurse, taking care of the critically ill and now must work because she’s at risk of losing her own livelihood.

She is unfortunately still sustaining symptoms such as visual disturbances, debilitating headaches, dizziness, and fatigue. These all unfortunately can come on at anytime which makes it hard to work an entire work week (don’t worry there are work restrictions). Laura’s been tirelessly contacting the worker’s compensation company to get something, but she needs our help.
