Support Laura in her fight against Lymphoma
Donation protected
All right if 2020 hasn't been hard enough with Covid-19, an unprecedented worldwide economic slowdown, my dear friend Laura Wittig was diagnosed with Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma (CNS) in July 2020. An inoperable tumor has grown on her brain and she is receiving chemotherapy in attempts to reduce the size of her tumor and stop the tumor's growth. Side affects from the tumor have caused her right side to lose mobility.
Laura is a devoted Single Mother to her two growing children 15yr old daughter Katie and 10yr old son Skylar. Together this trio love sports, music and animals, they regularly practice Tae Kwon Do together and have competed in local and national competitions. She takes great pride in her children and enjoys engaging with them in many different activities like fishing at Katepwa Lake, playing board games or curling up on the coach to watch a movie together. Their family would not be whole without the two dogs Teddy, and Jackson; three cats Fury, Jingles, and George; a bunny with no name and a tank full of goldfish.
If Laura's friends and family were asked to describe her they would say she is a stubborn, kind-hearted, loving, generous person who is there for them whenever needed. She is also a Sister, an Aunt, a friend and a hard working Mortgage Advisor who is dedicated to her clients. Due to this illness she is no longer able to work and she is not the type of person to ask for help so I am asking for her. To me Laura is a dear friend who has become more of a sister, we have smiled, laughed, commiserated, and cried together.
Since learning of her diagnosis she has spent much of her battle in the hospital undergoing treatment and due to Covid has had restricted visitors. The funds raised will be used to cover Laura's costs for home care when the treatments are finished. She will need assistance with most everyday activities due to her decreased mobility. In addition for living expenses while she is unable to work.
