Hello, my name is Laura Hamby, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times of my life. Last year, I lost my husband, and since then, I’ve been trying to navigate life without him. Now, I am facing another challenge: I’ve been diagnosed with a kidney tumor that requires immediate surgery to remove the affected kidney.

The surgery is necessary, but the recovery will leave me unable to work for 4-6 weeks. As a result, I am facing the daunting reality of not being able to pay for my basic living expenses, such as rent and food, during this time. I’m humbly asking for help to get through this.
