Our sister, Laura Beilke, has had Crohn's disease for about 28 years. She was having complications and had surgery on November 3rd. She was in the hospital for 5 days. She was discharged, and 2 days later, she had cardiac arrest. She has been at the UofM hospital since November 10th. She is stable but unresponsive. They are saying she will be there for 2-3 weeks and will have a long recovery. They did an MRI and it shows she had a stroke also so there is some damage to her brain. Any help and prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Saturday November 22nd. Laura was taken off the ventilator. She is breathing on her own and is receiving comfort care. We are praying for a miracle or for her pain to be over. Thank you to everyone for their prayers and support.

With a heavy heart. Laura passed away on November 26th. We will be having a service in January in Delano. Will post where and when, after we get everything ready.
