Hi, my name is Laura and this year has truly been a challenge. I am facing cancer for a second time .

This year I battled stage 3 colon cancer, undergoing a life-altering surgery and treatment. Since then, life has been challenging. After months of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries, and finally ringing that bell to a colostomy reversal, I thought the worst was behind me. Staying positive through it all for my family.

Now, that same type of cancer is back. I started having pain thinking it was due to my colostomy reversal, they found a 10cm mass in my stomach. I was diagnosed again and now with stage 4 colon cancer. I’m now facing this journey with more aggressive chemotherapy and steps towards a major surgery while trying to remain positive for my family with this long, overwhelming process.
