Help a Mother of 6 Children Find Stability After the Loss of a Loving Father

Hello, my name is Laura, and I am a mother doing everything I can to raise and care for six beautiful children on my own.

Our lives changed forever when Demarcus Little passed away Jun 4 2026, while working at the Palmetto Post Office in Palmetto, Georgia. Demarcus was more than just the father of my youngest daughter, he was a loving, caring, and generous man who treated all of my children as if they were his own. He also helped care for his son, who remains a part of our family today.

Those who knew Demarcus knew how much he loved his children. He had been so excited to welcome his first little girl into the world. Today, that little girl is 4 years old. It breaks my heart knowing that she will grow up with very few memories of her daddy. Every milestone, every birthday, every special moment reminds me of the loving father she should still have by her side.

Demarcus spoiled all of the children with love, laughter, and support. He was the kind of person who would give what he had to help someone else. He was loved by many, and his absence is still felt deeply every day.

Since his passing, I have been carrying the responsibility of raising six children alone. As many parents know, providing for a large family is challenging. Housing costs, utilities, food, clothing, transportation, and everyday necessities continue to rise, and despite working hard and doing my best, it has become increasingly difficult to stay ahead.

I am reaching out with a humble request for help. My goal is not to obtain anything luxurious or expensive. I simply want a safe, stable home where my children can feel secure and where we do not have to constantly worry about facing homelessness.
