In October 2024, La-Trenda Ross discovered a lump in her breast. After several tests — including mammograms and ultrasounds — doctors confirmed the need for a biopsy in November. On December 2nd, at 6 PM, she received the heartbreaking diagnosis: breast cancer.

The news was devastating, but La-Trenda's spirit remains unshaken. Her family quickly rallied around her, and a wave of love and support poured in from friends and the broader community.

Even while enduring weekly chemotherapy sessions that last 3–4 hours, La-Trenda continues to show up for others — just as she always has. Now, she’s turning this challenge into purpose: launching a foundation in 2026 to support other women and men navigating cancer.
