Hi, I’m Latrell. As many of you know or have heard, there was a devastating fire at 4 am Sunday morning at Georgetown Oaks in the building my dog and I lived in.
I lost everything except a few of my plants that were able to be pulled from my patio. I had a lot of sentimental things in that apartment: a set of my deceased mother's rings, my clarinet I played in high school, my class ring. Anyway, I could go on and on, but I won’t.
I’m incredibly grateful that everyone got out safe, but now I’m facing the overwhelming task of starting over from nothing. Many have asked what they could do or how they could help, so I’m reaching out for support during this difficult time—any contribution, no matter how small, will help me begin to rebuild.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this message would mean the world to me. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this unimaginable time!
