Hello, my name is LaToya, and on October 5th, my life took an unexpected and life altering turn. I was involved in a car accident that left me with severe injuries, including a broken arm and a leg injury. I was rushed to the hospital as a Level 2 Trauma, spent 10 days in the hospital recovering, and had to undergo surgery to repair my humerus bone. My doctor has given me a recovery time of 4 to 6 months, but every day is a challenge as I strive towards regaining strength and mobility in my arms and legs. .

Before the accident, I was passionately working towards my nursing degree while also serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). In the blink of an eye, everything changed. While I’m grateful to be alive and have the chance to heal, the financial strain has become overwhelming. My household bills are piling up, and as I wait for disability assistance to begin, it’s become an ongoing struggle to keep up with my daily expenses. This has been one of the toughest challenges of my life, and I truly appreciate any support that will help me through this difficult time.
