Support Latonya and Her Children in Crisis

My name is Latonya Lucas. I am 43 years old. I have an 11-year-old son and an 8-year-old grandson. On April 1, 2025, I was contacted by my housing entity informing me that on May 31, 2025, I would no longer get housing help because they had experienced cuts in the program by the Federal Government. I was at that point frozen with fear because with 2 children, what was I going to do? I was employed at the time, also going to school to pursue a career in the medical field. Since May, me and my children have been sleeping in the car due to nationwide cuts to all social programs. There aren't even shelters available. I refuse to give up; however, I'm not too prideful and humble enough to say I need help. I'm asking for help with a security deposit and two months' rent so I can get back on my feet for the safety and stability of myself and my children as school is approaching.
