Help Latisha Rebuild After Medical & Financial Crisis
Hi, my name is Latisha, and I’m 47 years old. Fourteen years ago, I was given the gift of life through a heart transplant—a journey that taught me to fight, to hope, and to never take a single day for granted. Today, I’m facing some of the hardest days of my life and very humbling time as a single mother. Recently, I lost my disability, despite being a heart transplant patient with continued health issues and needs for medication. The disability not only provided medical insurance, but I counted on it for half monthly income to pay half my bills. Without it I struggled to keep things afloat and thought I could recover by borrowing and reapplying for the disability. My efforts were not enough to continue to care and provide for my daughters. As a result, I was evicted from my home, and I’m now struggling to find shelter and keep my car—my only way to get to work and care for my daughters. If I lose my car, I lose my job—and with it, the small stability we have left. I’ve always tried to stay strong for my girls and trust that things will work out. But right now, I need help to get back on my feet.
I’m humbly asking for support to cover: Emergency housing costs Car payments to avoid repossession Essential living expenses and medical needs Whether you can give $5 or $50, every single donation makes a difference. And if you’re not able to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping us in your prayers. From the bottom of my heart—thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness and compassion mean more than you know. With love and gratitude, Latisha
Thank you, and may God bless you is my prayer.
