Support LaShonia’s Fight Against Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Our dear friend LaShonia Turner, has recently been diagnosed with cancer. This past week has been extremely challenging, stressful and exhausting as we prepare for what’s next. Due to the recent diagnosis and pain in her body, LaShonia has been unable to work.

Compounding this, her husband who is an owner operator, is temporarily out of work due to mechanical issues.

LaShonia and her husband are also Co-Owners of the beloved Scrum-Did-Dly-Ump-Tious restaurant in downtown Lawrenceville. Despite their best efforts, the business has been struggling since the fire in June, and they are doing everything they can to keep the doors open as they approach their 2nd anniversary on February 10th.

To support them during this challenging time, we’ve established a GoFundMe campaign to assist with medical and living expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. LaShonia has always been a beacon of light and love in our lives. She’s always gone above and beyond for her family, friends, loved ones and even strangers, even when it was a disservice to herself.

When Posh Salon in Dacula (2016-2024) was open, She donated to numerous schools as well as volunteered and helped many single parents. She partnered with a nonprofit, HHCP (Help For Healthcare Professionals) and helped feed over 3,000 healthcare workers during COVID while her salon was closed.

She has always given to others freely and selflessly, with genuine heart.

Now… it’s our turn to help her reap what she’s sown into so many of us!!!
