Support LaShawn's Recovery and Home Stability

My name is Charles and I created this GoFundMe in the hopes of helping best friend LaShawn Spencer get back on her feet after a life changing event.

 On February 29, 2024 she was shot twice in her stomach and left for dead by her ex boyfriend. Thankfully a neighbor was able to find her in time. After being rushed to the hospital and undergoing multiple surgeries, Lashawn was able to pull through. Due to the nature of damage sustained from the injures, doctors are estimating that her recovery journey will take close to a year a a half before she gains 100% mobility. Until then, she will be unable to work. This ordeal has caused my best friend to fall onto some financial hardships. She also has a 7 year old son & a mother with dementia that she is taking care of.

As I said before, I started this GoFundMe in an attempt to help my best friend get back on her feet. Funds raised will go towards various things such as medical bills, transportation to doctors visits, etc. This is a lot for anyone, and any help will be greatly appreciated.
