Support Larsen Family With Medical Expenditures

On December 11th,2019, William Larsen had a cerebral aneurysm that led to him having a severe stroke. Though Victoria had been at work when the stroke occurred, his younger children were at home and were able to call 911 and catch the stroke early on.  Thankfully, he has been recovering tremendously well so far, but with that being said there are many very large hospital bills to come. Due to the lack of medical services he had to be rushed to Redding via ambulance in order to receive the help required. He stayed in the ICU at Dignity hospital in Redding for the first 2 weeks (which is where he also spent Christmas). Due to lack of rehabilitation services in Redding, he was transported to an Acute Care Rehab Facility in Crescent City on Dec. 28th.  He's been receiving physical therapy and occupational therapy at his new "home".  William has been recovering relatively quickly thus far. His speech is back to normal and his brain hasn't seemed to have been affected by the stroke either. He has been able to stand up and get out of bed on his own and has started to be able to walk with the help of a walker, he's even begun to walk up and down stairs with therapist assistance. He still is having to regain movement on much of his right side. His vision (on the right side of both eyes) has been the slowest to recover.  Victoria and the kids had been staying up in Crescent City since he was moved up there, but the 3 older kids had to get back to school and work.  Victoria and Shaeley will be staying up there for another week (until January 12th) so they can be near William.  It's currently unknown how long William will need to remain in Acute Care, but we will keep everyone updated as we learn more.  Support is greatly needed and appreciated during this time as hospital bills have already begun pouring in and will continue. We thank you all for your care, concern and prayers during this difficult time.
