Reaching out to all of Larry’s friends and ones he loves. This is his sister, Shalyn. Mom and I apologize to anyone that has reached out trying to get updates, so we’re gonna let everyone know now. And when he makes a milestone, we will update again.

He is very critical. He has two fractures in his skull and bleeding on his brain. The swelling in his brain has been slow to dissipate, so they induced a coma yesterday. It is still very early, and we have a long road ahead. Larry still has so much life left; please don’t anyone give up on him yet. This is so hard for everyone. We will never leave his side.

Mom and I have been up here in Iowa City at his bedside. We are starting this GoFundMe because since there’s two of us, they won’t let us camp out in the waiting room after hours. They only allow one, and I can’t leave my mom up here alone. So we’ve been staying in a motel 1 mile away. And since this isn’t going to be as quick as we would like, we are gonna need all the help we can get for gas and motel. Also, Larry will be out of work for a while. We want to keep up on his bills so he can keep everything he has worked so hard for. The only money we will use is for the motel and gas. Anything leftover will be saved for him for when he gets better to help him with whatever he needs.

This is all for him, so anything you can help with, you know he would appreciate so much. He values every one of you. He loves all of his friends very much. Thank you all for loving him as well. Don’t give up faith. And please keep all prayers coming.
