As most of you know, I was diagnosed in February 2025 with a rare and very aggressive lung cancer. It was discovered through a CT scan for fractured ribs, which turned out to be life saving. Despite surgery, chemo, and immunotherapy, the cancer spread. A new oral chemo drug has been introduced, and for the first time, it seems promising.
Throughout this journey, I have been unable to work, and costs have soared. My medical team now believes that seeking a second opinion at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is my best chance for survival. The funds raised will help cover travel and living expenses while I pursue this opportunity and continue treatment.
I (we) hate to ask, but if anyone feels inclined to help us achieve this goal, we will be forever grateful. It is a difficult and expensive time for everyone, so thank you for reading our story and considering a donation. Your support means the world to us.
