Support Larry's Battle Against Aggressive Lymphoma

Donation protected
Larry first became ill in January. Thinking it was a cold or some other type of virus, he moved forward, working as usual. After a few visits to urgent care and no improvement, he was sent to the ER on February 11th. That was his first hospital stay of many and has not been able to work since.
After many tests, ruling out any type of infectious disease, he was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma on February 26th.
He had his first appointment at Tufts on February 29th. He was admitted immediately. Their plan was for him to have six rounds of R-CHOP every 21 days. PET scan #2 showed improvement. After round five, he started to decline. PET scan #3 showed his aggressive cancer had spread. His oncologist at Tufts decided he was a candidate for CAR T (cell therapy, where they collect your T cells, modify them in a lab to kill cancer, then return them to the patient.) In his now second hospital stay in the past month, he’s fighting to get strong enough to have the CAR T infusion. He is receiving radiation to shrink his spleen. His blood pressure keeps dropping, his heart rate keeps spiking and his blood counts are all over the place. He has had both blood and platelet transfusions. He has pleural effusions (fluid) around his left lung and now heart. He is on a nutrient bag as he is not eating much. Larry’s pain is thankfully being managed. He’s currently in the MICU. This is the only unit that can administer the medication to help bring his BP back up.
We need prayers please for him to be well enough to be able to move forward with CAR T.

Thank you very much!
