Larry, my brother, has faced unimaginable challenges after a devastating car accident. The impact shattered the bones from his palate to the top of his head, and he is now blind as a result. Larry was the main supporter of his family, working as a machine operator, and losing his vision has been a struggle for him and all of us. Despite everything, he has shown incredible strength, training his brain to learn to do things in a new way and adapting to a life that is completely different from what he knew.

The road to recovery has been long and painful, with multiple surgeries including a facial reconstruction that had to be redone just a week ago, on Monday, June 1st. Our family has been by his side every step of the way, but the challenges continue. All donations will help with household bills, travel back and forth from our home to Duke for medical appointments, and overnight stays for the family when needed to keep us close by Larry. Your support will help us cover these essential expenses and allow us to focus on his healing and rehabilitation.
