Support Larry Lucido's Journey to Stability

My name is Lawrence (Larry) Lucido. I am a 74-year old devout Catholic living in San Antonio with my 10-year old cat Peanut. I am also a member of the Knights of Columbus at my church in Far West San Antonio. My wife Marge Lucido recently passed away and I have been very grateful for all the support I've received from my community emotionally, spiritually, the companionship and daily transportation to daily church gatherings. Marge told me before her passing that I needed to get back to doing what I love and that is helping around the church and community.

Before my wife's passing, she was homebound due to medical issues and I was her primary caregiver for most of this year. During this time we were behind on our rent and medical bills. Though the apartment gave us a grace period I am now needing to catch up on the bills. Once I've caught up on my bills, I, along with Peanut, will possibly look to downsize to a smaller apartment to ease my expenses - God willing. But until then I need help in gathering the money for these bills. And even though I get by with support from my friends from my church community with daily rides - I had to sell my car while taking care of Marge - I would also love to have continued support from the community with transportation whenever possible.

I appreciate all the support I can get. God has been good to my wife, Peanut and I and I know once I am back on my feet I'd like to pay it forward with what I have. Look forward to connecting in the future.
