Support Larry After the Tragic and Sudden Loss of Zach Frost
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and devastating loss of Zach Frost, who passed away at the young age of only 32 years old.
This past Saturday night, Zach came home from work feeling very sick. He was struggling to breathe and had been experiencing abdominal pain. His father, Larry, rushed him to the ER, where Zach was admitted to the ICU. Despite dialysis and being placed on a ventilator, his condition continued to decline. In the early hours of the morning, Zach passed away at Grand Strand Medical Center due to complications from kidney and liver failure.
Zach was known for his big, warm hugs, his great smile, and his wonderful sense of humor. He was often called "Frosty" by close friends. He made everyone around him feel safe, loved, and seen. His sudden passing has left his family and friends heartbroken.
Zach’s father, Larry, is a retired musician, formerly of Crocodile Rocks in Norfolk, VA and Myrtle Beach, SC, and living on social security. They had just moved into a new condo together and now he is faced with financial hardship without Zach’s support. On top of the grief, there are immediate expenses — cremation services, daily living costs, and even car repairs that remain unresolved. Zach did not have any medical benefits or coverage through his employment, leaving these burdens on Larry during this incredibly difficult time.
My family has known Larry and Zach Frost for many years. They are what we call "chosen family." We really wanted to help Larry during this difficult time and knew that others would like to help, too, so we felt this would be a good opportunity to make this happen. We are asking for help to ease some of these financial pressures so Larry can focus on grieving and remembering his son without the added stress of mounting expenses. All of the funds raised (less the minimal administrative expenses of this page) will be going directly to Larry for his use only.
If you are able to give, no matter the amount, it will make a meaningful difference. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page and keeping Larry in your thoughts and prayers.
Zach’s kindness, laughter, and love will never be forgotten. He has left a lasting memory in all of us and will be dearly missed by so many friends and family.
We would like to thank you for helping honor his memory.
