Support Larry After the Loss of his Wife and Home
Donation protected
The Bernat, Mitchell, and Stelter families are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend, Brother-in Law, Uncle, and Grandpa, Larry Morrison.
Larry needs our community kindness, support, and financial help. His beloved wife, Mira, passed away in July of this year. He has been deeply grieving her loss. To add to this tragedy, his house and all his possessions burned to the ground in the catastrophic Marshall wildfires that destroyed over a thousand homes in Boulder County, Colorado in late December 2021.
Larry was able to rescue his two dogs, Tig and Indy, and the three of them found refuge from the fire, camping out in the front office of the Unity Church of Boulder. Larry has served as a primary musician for their church services and choir performances for many years.
Larry held out hope that his home may have been spared, until he received a photograph taken by one of the Superior firefighters. It showed the only thing that remains of his home – a mailbox in the snow, and nothing more. He has now lost his life partner, cherished family pictures, treasures including a Grand Piano, and their home in a matter of months.

We want Larry to know that he is not alone and that there are many people who care about him. Your messages of support are as precious to him as any funds you can generously donate to help Larry reclaim his life. Every dollar raised will go to purchase necessities, like food and clothing, and to help secure housing as Larry recovers, continues to grieve, and rebuilds his life.
Thank you for joining us in supporting our friend, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, and Grandpa Larry.
