I am reaching out to humbly ask for help for our family. My dad, Larry, lost all he has in a terrifying fire in the early morning hours of Sunday, 5/31/26.
Larry has been really put through the tests lately. He lost his wife, Debbie, in July of 2025 after over 20 years of marriage and a grueling battle with cancer. He struggles to maintain work due to a degenerative disc disease in his back that affects his mobility. He has no income and relies on his kids to help care for him.
We had just gotten him set up and semi-comfortable in this small area. His brother's barn caught fire, and the winds and high heat pushed the fire to his home. Larry, his son Mark, and his family were all evacuated from their home. We thank the Lord that everyone was okay. Mark and his family’s part of the home is safe with minimal damage.
Larry is a man of God, hardworking, and will do his best to salvage what he can. But all his belongings were damaged, and he can’t stay there anymore (see the photos above).
We understand this is a difficult time for everyone. The current economy makes it hard for families to buy food, gas, and essentials. So we only ask that you give what you can spare, if any. If not, then please send prayers our way.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and please forgive us if we’ve offended. C.X. & П.Х.Р.
