Larissia unfortunately passed away on 11.12.24. We will forever miss that sweet smile, laugh, and personality. Please continue to pray for peace during this time. Update 11.11.24- The saying “11/11 Make a Wish!” can be shouted from the rooftops today! We have been notified today that a liver has been located and Larissia will undergo transplant surgery tomorrow! Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, and donations for our sweet Moose! She says thank you for loving her and thinking of her. We are not out of the woods yet, but our “flashlights” have just gotten a lot brighter! <3

Update 11.6.24- Larissia was approved for liver transplant surgery today! There is still quite a long road ahead of her, but we are hopeful that we are moving in the right direction.

Larissia, affectionately known as Moose, has had a very tough year. Larissia has been struggling with her liver function and overall health for quite some time. Unfortunately, doctors have not been able to resolve the issue and she was just recently admitted to a hospital in Omaha due to liver failure. Thankfully, Larissia is a potential candidate for a liver transplant (and we are currently crossing our fingers for good news on this soon). That being said, if and when she receives the transplant, the road to recovery will be rather extensive and difficult. The road to recovery will include many weeks in the hospital for observation and treatment. Unfortunately, after the surgery Larissia’s family will not be able to stay at the hospital with her for some time which will result in hotel stays in the Omaha area. I have created this GoFundMe with Larissia and her mom, Renee, to share with you all what has been going on with our dearest Moose. We are hopeful that she will be a candidate for a transplant and we can help her to recover in the near future. Due to the large expenses of hotel stays, food, medical bills, and gas with traveling back and forth to Omaha, we are asking for any donations in order to help Larissia focus on getting better and not worry about the monetary stressors.
