I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer, and it has turned my world upside down. As someone who has dedicated 28 years to working as a special education teacher, I have always tried to be there for others. Now, I find myself in a position where I need to ask for help. Facing this diagnosis means I will need to take extended time away from work, and unfortunately, I have no income or financial support during my leave. The uncertainty of how I will manage my daily expenses has been overwhelming, and I know I can't do it alone.
