Hi everyone! Karl Moore here, long time Laramie High School/Laramie Swim Club member and supporter.

While running girls high school state swimming championships a couple weeks ago, our aging timing system let us know that it is starting to get tired. Several times during the meet, the system crashed...hard. Thanks to our incredible high school meet director, we were able to get through 3A and 4A championships and the club meet the following weekend.

However, there is no mistaking it, the system is nearing it's end of life. Timing systems are designed for the heat and humidity of swim pool life, but nothing lasts forever. After 10 years of High School, Club, Middle School, University of Wyoming, Special Olympics, Senior Olympics swim meets our CTS System 6 needs to retire.

We are raising money to purchase a new system. While the school district may be able to help out, there are no guarantees and what would Laramie Swimming be without the ability to host swim meets.
