Our sweet Laramie Rose.
What was supposed to be a normal check up & ultrasound appointment took a turn for the worse.
Laramie was diagnosed with Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV) & Ventricle Septal Disorder (VSD) at 27 weeks gestation.
DORV makes up only 2-3% of all congenital heart diseases, but what makes her case much more rare is her normal chromosomal make up- making her case sporadic.
(This disease is more associated with chromosomal abnormalities.)
We were referred to Cincinnati’s Children’s Hospital- Heart Institute in hopes their surgeon’s and doctors can save our little girl.
As many doctor appointments, overnight monitoring, gas tanks, hotel rooms, surgeries, and the endless months in the NICU we simply cannot afford both our home & saving our daughter.
This was our last resort.
All we ask is enough to keep our home & cars for a few months. Anything helps, even if its one prayer.
