Hi, my name is Lapis Stone. I’m currently displaced from my apartment after an illegal eviction that is slowly playing out in court. I have lawyers, but I’m immediately focused on securing safe, temporary housing and keeping my dogs and belongings protected.

Yesterday, on October 27th, 5 men with guns violently forced their way into my home while I was in court for the illegal eviction. I called the police and they will not investigate since the men left before I got there with the police. I have nothing left and nowhere to go. They took all of my things out, changed the locks, and boarded up the windows.

I’m asking for help raising $3,000 to cover immediate housing costs: a couple weeks at Motel 6, food for me and my dogs, transportation to and from work/court, and living essentials until I secure a new place.

Every contribution goes directly toward keeping a roof over my head and ensuring me and my dogs have a safe, consistent place to live (Motel 6 is pet friendly!!!).
