Hello and thank you in advance for reading about our fundraiser. My name is Carrie Lee Mullins-Gruhn. My Sister Staci and I are raising funds to assist my brother, Lanny D. Mullins, fight his cancer battle. Diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma, he has waited over two months to get his first treatment due to the California medical system and insurance authorizations, and a runaround with physicians.

Thank God he has begun immunotherapy at the University of California, San Francisco. The doctors are trying to shrink large lymph node tumors on his neck in order to proceed with surgery to remove the masses. He has had numerous tests and will have to make many long trips to San Francisco for treatment. He will be missing many workdays for this. He appreciates his understanding boss.

Lanny has always worked hard. He has a 12-year-old son whom he loves with all his heart. Recent life changes have weakened his immune system and drained his bank account.
