Beautiful souls,

We are updating you after our first full cycle around the sun with Lanita's third breast cancer diagnosis. Unlike previous experiences, you may recall that this experience has shown up in her pelvic bones. And, there remains so much hope for a BRIGHT future for our medicine woman - mother, sister, friend. Going into the new year we still need a lot of love and support with ongoing treatments, their side effects (which we ask for you to hold a vision of as minimal and non existent, though they've been interesting thus far!) and to maintain day-to-day expenses. In 2026, we need you just as much as ever.

But first, a HUGE thank you. In 2025, we raised just over $20,000 for Lanita. This has paid for oral chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and injections for restimulating the growth of bone, alongside holistic therapies - a PEMF mat, an indoor bicycle to rebuild bone, a vibration plate, herbs, tinctures and teas, clean food (we all know this isn't free), and consultations with professionals whom know cancer inside and out.

At present, this is a long-term diagnosis. Our goal is REMISSION and one of the best ways that we can make this happen is by ensuring low stress for Lanita. This absolutely includes low financial stress.

Today (November 21, 2025), we applied for marketplace insurance that met 95% of Lanita's needs. And, with the rising cost of insurance, we're going to need your help in creating ongoing financial stability. For 2026, we have known medical expenses of around $12,000 which will come quickly as some of the injections are quite costly. So, we are asking all of you who have donated to consider donating a consistent amount each month to make sure Lanita's future STAYS bright. Whether it's $5, $50 or $500 (we can dream!), it counts. Your love and support counts. As of this afternoon, we have turned on the option for * monthly donations * and we bow to you in advance, truly, in reverence and respect for whatever decision you make for * your * highest and best and, for our Lanita's as well.

We (her closest friends) believe this is a natural and normal experience of humanity - that we lean on one another through it all.

As a note of and from love, if you choose to reach out to Lanita, we ask for positivity, a vision of healing and all the grace (as depending on the day, it may take her a little bit to get back with you). Regardless, we feel certain that you will know how meaningful it is that you are here bearing witness to this rite of passage, of sorts."
