On July 20, my life changed in an instant when I wrecked my dirt bike and broke my back in two places. The accident was sudden and left me facing a long and difficult recovery. As a carpenter, I’ve always relied on my hands and strength to make a living, but now I’m unable to work and support myself and soon to be newborn baby. Every day is a challenge as I adjust to this new reality and focus on healing.

My recovery involves ongoing physical therapy and regular medical appointments, which are both physically and financially demanding. I’m managing everything on my own, and the weight of medical bills and everyday expenses is overwhelming. Without the ability to work, I’m struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, and other basic needs while also paying for the care I need to recover.
