Support Landyn's Journey to Recovery

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn, and I’m Landyn’s oldest sister. As some of you may know Landyn has had an unforeseen emergency. On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, he was found unresponsive when it was time to wake up. Landyn was put in and ambulance and taken to a hospital where we were told he had a massive brain bleed, and then was air flighted to a different hospital. Landyn was then diagnosed with arteriovenous malformation (AVM). This is something that people are just born with and can rupture at any moment without knowing they have it. Sadly for Landyn, this is the case for him. He has had a massive brain bleed which is causing his brain to swell and cause stroke-like symptoms. His whole right side of his body is non-functioning and he can not swallow or talk and has now been given a feeding tube. As of now, doctors are not sure of what will improve and what will be permanent damage.

Landyn is on his way to try to recover, but with that being said comes rehabilitation for OT, PT, Speech, and much more along with at least one surgery in about 3 weeks to 6 months depending on how he improves to try and fix what they can of the AVM.

I am asking for anything to try and help in this time of need as no one is certain of what will come of everything and having to miss work, along with my mother losing her job.
