Support Landon’s Fight Against Lyme Disease

UPDATE August 2024: Landon was cleared of Lyme at the end of July! We are so thankful to God and all of our friends and family who have been so supportive throughout this time.

We are continuing to fundraise for some follow up care in Clearwater, as well as treating our home for mold, as his doctor recommended.

UPDATE July 2024: Thank you so much to everyone who has helped fund Landon’s recovery!

He has drastically improved over the past weeks.

Some wins so far:

Before beginning treatment Landon was having trouble walking around the house due to the pain throughout his body. Last week we took a family walk for an hour and he felt great the whole time! We are setting a goal to walk as a family each evening.

He has gone from sleeping only an hour or two at night to easily sleeping throughout the whole night.

He has gotten off 2 prescription medications for nerve/muscle pain, and cut back 50% on the last one.

He saw his doctor this week and she said he initially tested for positive for 7 strains of Lyme bacteria, and now is down to 2!

He also rated 84 on a symptom intake form initially, and this week was down to 23.

She wants to extend his treatment a few more weeks to the end of July, to allow his body to completely heal from Lyme.

We have raised our funding goal to allow for this additional time.

Landon is the worship director at illuminate church in Kissimmee, Florida. He and his wife, Katelyn have five children, ages 9 months to 13 years old.

Landon began filling ill early 2024 and has seen multiple doctors and undergone exhaustive tests but has continued to find little to no relief… he has become progressively worse. Just recently he was given a diagnosis of Lyme disease and is now scheduled to begin a course of intensive medical care this Monday, May 13th in Clearwater, FL. He will receive daily treatments for a minimum of eight weeks.

We are asking for financial help to cover the housing in Clearwater, transportation, and meals for his family so they can all stay together during this time.
