Support Landon's Bilateral Syme's Amputation

Hi, my name is Samantha and I am the mom to an incredible boy. Landon, 12, was born with a rare condition called Femur Fibula Ulna Syndrome. Landon has spent his 12 years in and out of specialist offices, in the operating room, in casts and braces and has overcome obstacles we couldn't imagine. Anyone that knows Landon knows that despite his disorder, he is one of the sweetest, most caring, kind and strong people you will ever meet. His disorder has not stopped him from being the most amazing human being. While he has developed into such an awesome personality, he has struggled for many years physically. Being unable to keep up with the other kids, participate in sports or simply walk longer than 10 minutes without pain has taken a toll on his body and his mental health. He is ready to make this step that will ultimately give him to the freedom to do whatever he sets his mind to without the limitations of his disorder.

On Wednesday, June 1st Landon will be undergoing a bilateral Syme's amputation at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. After years of trying every other solution, this seems to be the only option we have and the key to a better way of life for Landon.

> Handicap Accessible modifications to our home

> Covering the cost of monthly bills while I care for Landon and take him to therapy twice a day once he is healed (I will be off of work and paying a substitute during this time).

> Getting a vehicle that can accommodate the storage of his wheelchair and other items he may need and fit our family.

> Cover any co-pays or items that his insurance does not cover.
