Six skiers from Lander Valley High School have qualified for the US Ski and Snowboard Junior National Championships to be held in Cable, Wisconsin in March!

Congratulations to Logan Heller, Corbin Eddy, Twyla Beason, Nora Strike, Garrett Heller, and Landen Parker. These Lander skiers and others from the region will make up the High Plains Nordic Team.

Qualifying for Junior Nationals is a huge honor that takes years of practice, commitment, and training. The event draws the best Nordic skiers age 14 to 19 in the US and that includes our elite group of Lander skiers.

The cost of attending the week-long national championship is $2600 per skier for transportation, lodging, race fees, coaching, and equipment. It's a lot, and on short notice but with your help, we can keep their dream of attending Junior Nationals in reach.
