Hi everyone, I am Holly and I am writing this on behalf of my husband Lance. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support during an incredibly difficult time. Lance has amazing strength, and from the very beginning, he has faced more than most can imagine. Through every challenge, he has continued to push forward with courage and hope and maintained his sense of humor and positive attitude. Lance has always been a caring and loving husband, father, and friend. Unfortunately, his journey has taken an unexpected turn.

In April 2023, we received the incredible gift of a double lung transplant, a miracle that gave our family more time together and a deep gratitude for the generosity of a donor. We are so thankful for every moment that gift provided. Unfortunately, due to complications that were not of anyone's doing, and despite the best efforts of his medical team, it has become clear that a second transplant is now necessary. This is not a setback, but the next step in his courageous journey. We are ready to fight again, and with your help, we know he can win. Lance is currently in the hospital at UCSD and will remain there until he receives new lungs. Now we wait patiently for that day.

Myself, along with our children Zach, Zane, Gabe and Zoe, are thankful for this opportunity. We appreciate everyone's encouraging words and support.

All funds will go towards medical expenses, travel expenses, and will allow me to take the time off work to care for him during his recovery and continued care once home.
