Support Lance's Journey to Life-Saving Transplant

Hello! My name is Paige and I am starting this Go Fund Me to help my brother Lance and his family through this incredibly difficult and uncertain time.

Our beloved Lance Rudolph was officially diagnosed with Sezary Syndrome, Stage IVA, in May 2024 — a rare and aggressive form of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Sezary Syndrome is a type of blood cancer that affects the skin, lymph nodes, and bloodstream. It causes severe itching, redness, and rashes all over the body, along with fatigue, infections, and serious complications over time.
This diagnosis came after six long years of misdiagnoses, failed treatments, and growing symptoms. It wasn’t until we turned to the Mayo Clinic that Lance finally got the correct diagnosis and a clear path forward. Since then, he has bravely undergone weekly chemotherapy infusions, 20 full-body radiation treatments, and monthly Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) — an intense treatment that filters his blood to help control the disease.
While Lance is currently stable, his medical team has warned us that the treatments will eventually stop working — and there’s no guarantee that other options will be effective. After careful consideration and consultation with his doctors, Lance has made the courageous decision to undergo an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant, scheduled for June 19, 2025. This procedure is his best shot at long-term remission — and possibly a cure.
The road ahead is long and challenging. The transplant comes with serious risks and will require Lance to stay in Rochester, MN for at least 100 days following the procedure to be closely monitored and cared for. This extended recovery period means time away from home, work, and the ability to support his family.
The financial impact is overwhelming. On top of extensive medical expenses, there are the added costs of temporary lodging near the hospital, travel, meals, and daily living expenses — all while Lance is unable to work. His wife, Jenny, is continuing to work as much as she can while also caring for their two young children, Brooklynn (5) and Jack (3), and being by Lance’s side during treatment and recovery.
We are reaching out to our community with hopeful hearts, asking for your support. Your donation — no matter the size — will go directly toward easing the financial strain of this life-saving transplant journey.
Lance has always been the first to help others — offering his time, his humor, and his whole heart. Now, he needs us.
Thank you for standing with Lance and our family during this time. Your love, prayers, and generosity mean more than words can express.
