Support Lance's Journey to a New Kidney
Donation protected
Lance is a 9 year old, athletic, funny, and kind, little boy. Looking at him, always dressed head to toe in Philly sports team gear , you'd never know that yesterday he started dialysis. Lance is in End Stage Kidney disease and now is on the transplant list, waiting for "the call" for a new kidney. His mom Tracy, one of the strongest women I've ever met, is doing this alone. Her Mom and sister, along with friends are getting her through this time and helping as much as possible. When she gets a call, she needs to leave and get Lance bloodwork, or go to the doctors, or drive to the city to see the surgeon. She has missed countless hours of work. Her job is based on commission and tips as well as an hourly amount, so missing time once her vacation time is used up is going to result in missed wages and a lot of them.
Our hope is that Lance gets a new kidney soon and that Tracy can take the time she needs to help her son recover and adjust to the new normal. We hope for Lance to be able to bounce back and feel amazing. He has been an active part of a club hockey team, baseball team and flag football team, all which of course are on hold indefinitely. With all the stress that goes along with a sick child, my goal is to take some of the financial stress off of this family. I thank you in advance for your prayers for Lance and Tracy as well.
