Help Lance defeat Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma of the brain stem.

Lance’s family is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Lance Benedict.

Lance had an MRI done when his vision suddenly became blurry and his left eye quit functioning properly. The MRI showed a tumor at the skull base and within a few months symptoms rapidly progressed to constant migraines, nausea, severe neck pain, and complete numbness on the left side of his head (eye, lip, tongue, and ear leading to hearing loss). He is also struggling with balance issues while walking. He had a brain biopsy performed at Swedish hospital in January and we were given the devastating news that the tumor is cancer, Aggressive Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma. We met with the oncologist/hematologist team in Kennewick, Washington and they started Pola-R-CHP on February 16th. Treatment will consist of 8 treatments over 8 months with physical therapy afterwards. Because of all of the compounding issues he is unable to work and provide for his family. He has always been a hard worker and the sole provider for his family. With high medical costs and less income coming in we would be grateful for any support during this difficult time.
