Our dear friend Lance Griffin needs our help.
Many people in our community know Lance as the familiar face behind the bar at The Store Club, but to so many of us he is far more than a bartender—he’s a genuine friend, someone who always shows up for others, listens and brings laughter wherever he goes.
Recently, Lance experienced a sudden and serious medical emergency. After suffering severe food poisoning, he had a seizure and collapsed. The fall caused devastating injuries, fracturing three vertebrae in his spine from L1 through L3. Lance is currently undergoing spinal fusion surgery to stabilize his spine.
This injury means a very long road ahead. Doctors expect months of intensive recovery, including physical therapy and rehabilitation that could last up to a year before he is able to fully return to normal life and work.
As a bartender who relies on being physically present and active, Lance will be unable to work for quite some time. The costs of surgery, hospital care, rehabilitation, and everyday living expenses will quickly add up while he focuses on healing.
We are starting this fundraiser to help relieve some of that financial burden so Lance can concentrate on what matters most—recovering and getting back on his feet.
If you know Lance, you know the kind of person he is: Honest, hardworking, and always willing to help his family and friends when they need it. Now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Any donation, no matter the amount, will make a difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help us reach others who know and love Lance.
Thank you for supporting Lance during this incredibly difficult time and helping him through the long journey to recovery. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out personally for Katherine Linville for more information. Thank you again!
