Hi everyone, my name is Rachel, and I’m raising money for my dog, Lana. She is a 5-year-old bull terrier mix who I adopted when she was less than a year old, and she has been my child ever since.

Lana has Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) injuries in both of her back legs, which is similar to a human tearing both ACLs. Because of this, she experiences constant knee pain, limping, difficulty getting up, and trouble walking. Seeing Lana, who was such an energetic, playful, and loving dog, struggle with everyday movement has been heartbreaking.

For anyone who has met Lana, you know how sweet, goofy, and full of life she is. Right now, she is on pain medication just so she can walk comfortably without crying, but this is only a temporary solution.

The surgery she needs to repair both legs is very expensive, but it would give her the chance to run, play, and live pain-free again. I am asking for help to give Lana the quality of life she deserves.
