Support Lana’s Medical School Dream
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lana, I’m 19 years old, and I’m from Lebanon. Ever since I can remember, I’ve dreamed of becoming a doctor. Not just because I love science and medicine, but because I want to dedicate my life to helping others — to be someone who brings light into people’s lives, especially in a world where so many feel forgotten.
I’ve worked hard to get here. I studied tirelessly in school and began my pre-med degree at the University of Lebanon. But the political and economic crisis in my country changed everything. The university was temporarily shut down for long periods and the instability has made it incredibly difficult to continue studying consistently or feel secure about the future.
Still, I didn’t give up.
Despite all the obstacles, I was recently accepted to study medicine at Caucasus University in Georgia. This opportunity means everything to me — a second chance to follow the path I’ve worked so hard for. But I need your help to make it a reality.
I’ve been tutoring to earn some money and I plan to take on more work once I arrive in Georgia, but I still have at least $6,000 left to pay for this year’s tuition — something I simply can’t cover on my own.
Leaving my home, my family, and everything I know is a huge step, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to become a doctor. Because more than anything, I want to be someone who can make a difference — to help those who are suffering, just like I’ve always dreamed.
If you can support me in any way, whether through a donation or by sharing my story, I would be endlessly grateful. Every dollar helps bring me closer to this dream.
Thank you so much for reading and for believing in me.
With all my heart,
Lana
Note: Due to the financial instability and banking issues in Lebanon, the funds from this campaign will be received by my auntie in Australia and securely transferred to cover my tuition fees in Georgia.
