In a matter of moments, a kitchen fire changed Lana’s life.

Anyone who knows my beloved cousin Lana knows that she is one that selflessly gives and always taking care of others.

Lana suffered severe 3rd degree burns to her face, chest, and hands and remains hospitalized as she fights through an incredibly painful recovery. Doctors are working to treat an infection obtained while battling to restore the use of her hands, something that is essential for her job and everyday life. Right now, there is uncertainty about when she will be able to return to work.

With no hospital release date in sight, medical bills and everyday expenses are quickly piling up. Once Lana is able to leave the hospital, she will still need ongoing care including physical therapy, medical equipment, and possibly in-home nursing support as she continues to heal.
