Hi guys, it’s Amanda.

As many of you know my mom Lana (… and our Gretel, to all these kids) was diagnosed with rectal cancer last summer. After radiation treatment we were so happy they didn’t find any traces in the area and the cancer was gone.

At her last MRI in February they noted 2 new lesions that hadn’t been there before, one on the left and one on the right in the iliac bones. They thought it may have been scarring but chose to do a bone biopsy to make sure.

Her Bone biopsy came back positive yesterday April 15th, 2024.

At this time, we are not sure what the exact name is or what stage. We are waiting for insurance approval for her to get to an oncologist at Loma Linda. Please pray the referral goes through fast so we can get in there and start this new scary fight.

Also, as many of you know my dad got so sick a few years ago, literally the hospital told him had he not come in that night he would have died at home. Unfortunately, since then hasn’t been able to work but little jobs here and there. My mom started working as a housekeeper to help cover some of their bills as my dad’s social security just isn’t enough.

I’m asking for help again to help them cover gas to what will be many trips off the mountain for Dr. visits, food for their table and to help with bills that they won’t be able to pay.

I know times are so stressful and hard on all of us but if you can find it in your hearts to donate we would appreciate it more than you know. If you can’t donate that is ok too. Please send our family warm wishes, hugs and prayers.
