Support LaMonicas Heart Journey

My name is Kara and this is for my youngest sister LaMonica. In 2021, she had a cardiac arrest with an extended hospital stay while on life support for some time. She recovered and was sent home with some health struggles over the years.

Fast forward to December of 2024 and Jan. 2025, she started having dizziness and fainting spells. Her defibrillator would go off during those times and shock her since her heart was out of rhythm. They discovered at the hospital she has 6-7 extra beats per 100, so they did an operation called ablation. But while they were operating, the extra beats would fire somewhere else in her heart and it was not going as planned. The surgery took 12-13 hrs and was only supposed to take 3-4 if things went well. They did complete the surgery and she was put on life support & ECMO since her heart is so weak. Edit:She recieved a heart transplant on Feb. 4/5 and is recovering from that. Thank you for caring and for your prayers!♥️
