My name is lamin and For over two years now, I’ve been dreaming of something simple—just a gaming setup. Not to show off. Not to brag. Just to have my own space. My own escape. My own screen to stare at after a long day of holding it together.

It’s weird how people think it’s “just a game.” But for me, it’s more than that. It’s where I imagine I can finally breathe, laugh, maybe even be myself. And every time I see someone else’s glowing keyboard, sleek monitor, and that perfectly lit gaming chair, I feel a little sting in my chest. Not jealousy—just longing.

And then there’s the laptop. That’s not even for gaming all the time. That’s for school. For studying. For getting my future straight. I need it to do work, to stay caught up, to keep moving forward. But I don’t have one—not yet. I’m trying to raise the money. Every little dollar, every coin saved, feels like a brick toward building the life I want.

But it’s hard. Really hard. I’ve asked. I’ve waited. I’ve hoped. Sometimes I wonder if people understand how much I care. How much I’m trying. Not just for fun. But for peace. For progress.

So yeah—maybe it’s silly to want a gaming setup and a laptop so bad. But to me, they’re not just things. They’re a part of the future I’m chasing. And I’m not giving up.
