Hey- my name is Shanna, however the surgery that I am raising funds for is my 12 year old daughter Lala. She was born with Spondylolisthesis and spondylolisis. Which means she was born missing a vertebrae, her spine shifted and she had a disc that was “sick” over the years her spine continued to shift and it started causing her a lot of pain in her back and legs due to pressing on her spinal cord. In 2022 she woke up and was barely able to walk. Lala is a spunky full of life young girl. We will had a spinal fusion with a cage and bone graft on he L5 -S1 We were to have this surgery April 19th however her surgeon was sick so we had to push the surgery to May 15th. Her insurance will cover all of her surgery except her bone graft. My family helps me in many ways and will also be helping during the time she is down with healing. Her full healing process is 12 months but the first big hit of healing will be the first three months where she can’t bend or twist she can only walk sit or lay. My family will probably kill me when they see this but I do not want to put any more on them then what they are already doing. I need to pay for part of her surgery and literally have no idea how I will do it. If you can help or feel led to help that would be amazing.
