I am currently pursuing my master's in clinical counseling at Concordia University Irvine, and I have been given a unique opportunity to provide much-needed mental health services to a local community in Belize. This mission trip is a chance for me to use my education and skills to make a real difference in the lives of students and teachers who may not otherwise have access to counseling support.

The funding I am seeking will help offset the costs of travel, room and board, and food while I am in Belize. Your support will not only help me cover these essential expenses, but it will also aid in my professional growth as I gain hands-on experience in a new environment. Most importantly, your generosity will make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve, as we work to foster a healthier and more supportive school community.

During our time in Belize, our primary focus will be on supporting students and teachers in an underserved community by providing mental health counseling. Based on the needs identified by the local school’s principal, we will deliver counseling sessions focused on Adlerian and Solution-Focused Therapy. These methods are designed to offer effective and immediate support, helping students and educators manage stress, improve well-being, and create a positive school environment.
